This revolution is not just political. It is creative. It is cultural. It is spiritual.

It is a reclaiming of our humanity by refusing to be monetized or follow the extractive, hierarchical model of imperial capitalism. It’s a collective of artists speaking truth to power, defying logic, and shifting the Overton Window with imagination, satire and vision for a better world.

Through poetry, comedy, songs, visual art and writing, we don’t create art for art’s sake alone. We create to reach the heart and soul of humanity — to remind people of their birthright and their inherent worth, and to spur the united resistance to course-correct humanity’s fast-moving descent.

As we break through the fog and noise with relentless truth telling and moral clarity, we are bound together by a reverence for life: the belief that every living creature has worth, no matter how small, simply by being alive.

The movement is all at once leaderless and leader-full. Everywhere and nowhere. Constantly evolving, it lives in the heart of every artist waking up in a world that is falling apart.

We are not bound by the past — by the old rules of performance, manipulation and commercialization at the expense of truth, integrity and care. It will not be monetized in the ways of old. Yes people may support artists as patrons, and must respect copyright laws, but the movement itself cannot be contained, pinned down, or bought.

When in the course of human events, it becomes necessary for the people to dissolve the political bands which have bound them to a captured and corrupted government, and to reclaim the just powers of self-governance, a decent respect to the conscience of humanity requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to act and end the reign of terror, and re-institute a government of the people by the people and for the people. 

We hold these truths to be self-evident:

• That all people are born equal,
• That they are endowed not by corporations nor kings but by their shared humanity with certain unalienable Rights,
• That among these are Life, Liberty, Health, Dignity, and the Pursuit of a Livable Future
• That governments are instituted among people to secure these rights,
  
• And that whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive to these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or abolish it.

When a long train of abuses, violations, stealing from the people without consent - ceaselessly trying to reduce the people under absolute Despotism and Tryanny, it is their right, it is their duty to withdraw from participation in this unjust system and build something better.

The history of the present United States government is a history of repeated injuries and usurpations, all having in direct object the establishment of an absolute oligarchic and tyrannical dominion over a free people.

To prove this, let facts be submitted to a candid world:

• They have legalized the bribery of public officials under the name of campaign finance.
• They have permitted corporations to purchase elections, and called it speech.
• They have appointed judges with lifetime tenure who serve not the Constitution but the interests of the few.
• They have gutted protections for labor, for air and water, and for public health in the name of profit.
• They have stripped the poor of benefits while gifting the wealthy with tax havens and loopholes.
• They have allowed monopolies to consolidate power across industry, media, and government.
• They have sanctioned wars for oil while neglecting peace at home.
• They have deregulated Wall Street, bailed out bankers, and left millions in ruin.
• They have poisoned minds through propaganda, divided the people by race and class, and used fear as a tool of control.
• They have permitted billionaires to mine private data and manipulate elections with algorithmic weapons.
• They have militarized local police while defunding public schools.
• They have denied science, mocked truth, and silenced dissent.
• They have scapegoated the vulnerable—immigrants, the unhoused, the disabled—while shielding the guilty from consequence.
• They have ignored a climate catastrophe they knew was coming, sacrificing our children to quarterly profits.
• They have criminalized poverty and protected white-collar crime.
• They have allowed private equity to devour homes, hospitals, and hope.
• They have let Black and Brown communities drown in injustice and pain, while offering only slogans and surveillance.
• They have built a surveillance state in secret, without consent, and turned the tools of liberation into instruments of control.
• They have allowed judges to gut voting rights, ignore corruption, and shield their own abuse of power.
• And now, they codify their coup into law, dismantling the republic under cover of procedure, austerity, and digital erasure.

A government which does these things has forfeited its legitimacy.

We have petitioned in good faith. We have called, written, marched, testified. We have been mocked, gassed, fired, blacklisted, and ignored.

We are not radicals. We are not mobs.
We are the people. And we are awake.
We therefore declare, in the spirit of our ancestors and in defense of our descendants:

That we do not recognize the authority of a government that denies humanity;

That we withdraw our consent from systems built to exploit us;

That we will resist through truth, compassion, and noncooperation;

That we call upon our fellow citizens across all divisions to unite against this authoritarian descent.

Let the tyrants tremble, for we remember who we are.
Let the corporations take note: the people have risen.
And let history record that we did not go quietly.

We pledge to one another our voices, our labor, our creativity, and—if necessary—our sacred resistance.
